Correction: It's a church that welcomes everyone,as churches are supposed to do. How can you expect someone to "repent" but at the same time tell them "people like you can't come in here you're not welcome." Not exactly a good example.

A sin is a sin is a sin.
God doesn't have a "sin scale" You don't get points based on the severity of a sin.
You steal a piece of bubble gum, it's a sin. Participate in a homosexual act, it's a sin.
BTW - God hates the act - not the person.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
I'm fairly certain not a single one of us qualifies for that, so this discussion probably shouldn't be happening.
This is casting stones. This thread has no chance of "reforming" or "helping" homosexuals... this is to talk about how bad it is - in your eyes. Casting stones.

That is the easy way out... No you do not kick them out but you do encourage them to repent... we do not accept that behavior or any other sin... the statement" ye without sin cast the first stone: well I have not thrown any stone... I did not say it God aready has in his Bible so the Word is juddging not I.

It is not a homosexual church, I actually have family members who go to "this" church so don't start. If you know this individual so well how do you know they are a homosexual or not, I know exactly who you are referring to but do you have proof? There has been speculation for years but do you honestly know the truth?

You take a stand by kneeling down on your knees and praying. Using this board as a platform is no way to see men or women turning over to a changed heart. The message of God should be handled with care and love. The Scriptures also say to not cast your pearls to the swine. You have your opinions about what the scriptures means to you but remember Jesus didn't goto anyone and condemn them. He convicts the heart through love, that is the only way the Holy Spirit can even draw you and me and the whole world unto repentance.

Also Jesus spoke to the crowds that followed him. He never went to ones house and called them out for sinning, he said we have all sinned and fell short. And our righteousness is as filthy rags. So you see we are all sinners and need to see the love of Christ if we want to see repentance of ones heart. The Scriptures also tell us how the Pharisees and Scribes came to Jesus and he called them hypocrites.(Matthew 6:2) They themselves thought that their righteousness was good. On the outward appearance they put on a good show and judged many wrong, but on the inward man they were as sinful as one who had never repented. Therefore Jesus told them that Sodom and Gomorrah would stand better in judgement than they would. We all know what Sodom and Gomorrah stood for and what their sin was, but Jesus made it clear to the Scribes and Pharasies that what they stood for and was doing was even worse.

God loves us all, and he knows we all fall short. He knows our hearts and he died for all our sins. I would never use the word of God for preaching or teaching or even repeating unless you was invited to do so. When you are called by God then he will anoint you to speak his word, and then will the love of Christ convict the heart of man.
